Dear Sirs,

On behalf of the Directorate of the festival, I have the honor to invite your representatives to take part in the VII International Music Festival «Sharq taronalari» (“Melodies of Orient”) to be held under the patronage of UNESCO in Samarkand from 25 to 30 of August, 2009.

The best stages of this ancient city will be arranged for all masters of arts from different countries of the world.

I am sure that by attracting representatives from your country we can together promote the spiritual and mutual cultural enrichment among nations worldwide.

I would also like to inform you that expenses (board and lodging, local transportation) of your participation in the Festival will be covered by the Directorate of the Festival.

As an exception the payment of expenses for the International flights of the National Company "Uzbekistan Airways" will be provided (at the discretion of the Directorate of the Festival).

Since the period of holding of the Festival concurs with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan festival organizers will create all necessary conditions for participants that will keep the fast during the festival.

Your earliest confirmation to participate in the Festival will be highly appreciated (deadline: 30 June, 2009).
